Euan Beamont

Originally a wheat and sheep farmer from Mullewa, Western Australia, Euan holds a degree in Agribusiness and a diploma in Farm Management.

After leasing the farm at the age of 30, Euan worked with the French aid organisation Medecins Sans Frontieres in various logistic, construction and coordination roles supporting medical teams responding to emergencies. Euan is now part of the Australian emergency pool.

Euan co-founded “Energy Farmers Australia” in 2010. Energy Farmers has been developing mobile pyrolysis technology and conducting research on uses of biochar in Australian horticultural and agricultural systems.
