Dr Isabelle Ruhnke
Isabelle graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Germany in 2008. Since then she worked at the Gastrointestinal Laboratory at Texas A&M University for her doctorate thesis on gastrointestinal transporters and at the Institute of Animal Nutrition in Berlin for her PhD on feed technologies and feed particle size on poultry. Isabelle is a specialised veterinarian in Animal Nutrition and Dietetics and joined the University of New England in 4 years ago to improve free range layers health and production in Australia. She is known for her applied research on commercial farms, has managed 8 projects related to free range egg production and supervised 7 graduate students.
